Turbodyne Receives Product Award

WOODLAND HILLS, Ca., March 26 /CNW-PRN/ - Turbodyne Technologies Inc.
(``Turbodyne'') today announced that Heavy Duty
Trucking magazine has named the Turbopac(TM) and Dynacharger(TM) systems as
one of the best 50 products of 1997.
Heavy Duty Trucking's ``Nifty Fifty Awards'' showcase the best product
introductions of the year. In terms of innovation, serviceability and
performance, this product has done the best job of meeting a specific market
need. The winning products were based on their usefulness to the trucking
industry.
The Turbopac(TM) is an electronic supercharger that provides additional
air through remote sensors that monitor an engine's demand for power. It
consists of a high-speed brushless motor and electronic controller, and works
on turbocharged or non-turbocharged engines. The Dynacharger(TM) is
essentially a Turbopac(TM) that's already built into a turbocharger, ideal for
original equipment manufacturers.
The Turbopac(TM) has been recognized as the only anti-pollution product
that substantially increases engine power and fuel economy, while
significantly decreasing harmful pollutants. With the Turbopac(TM), less fuel
is burned and burning less fuel directly reduces carbon dioxide, the primary
contributor to global warming. Turbodyne technology provides the only known
mobile technology that directly reduces the emission of carbon dioxide.
Turbodyne Systems, the high technology division of Turbodyne,
manufactures, designs, markets and develops patented pollution-reduction, fuel
economy and performance enhancing products for internal combustion engines,
both diesel and gasoline.
Its light metals division is a manufacturer of machined aluminum castings
and a leading supplier of engineered permanent mold aluminum products to the
automotive industry, producing revenues of $39 million in 1997.
Offices and plants are located in Carpinteria, La Mirada, Encinitas and
Woodland Hills, CA; Ensenada and Mexico City, Mexico; Northants, England;
Vancouver, Canada; Frankfurt, Germany; and Paris, France.
