Standard Products Receives Chrysler Award

CLEVELAND, March 25 -- The Standard Products Co.'s Cleveland-
Reid exterior trim plant has been awarded Chrysler Corporation's prestigious
Gold Pentastar award.
The award was presented to the Cleveland-Reid organization for its
consistent performance in meeting Chrysler's rigorous supplier quality goals.
It marks the fourth time in the last five model years that Cleveland-Reid has
received this designation according to Jim Kaczynski, general manager of
operations at the plant.
At the presentation, Tom Buczak, Purchasing Supervisor for Chrysler's
Large Car Platforms, said that the Gold Pentastar award is based on delivery,
the quality of parts, service, and warranty ratings at the plant level. He
congratulated Cleveland-Reid for its continued excellence and for its efforts
on behalf of Chrysler.
"This recognition illustrates the lasting strength of our Tier One
supplier relationship with Chrysler," stated Kaczynski. "Our employees
appreciate producing the best trim products in a safe, efficient customer
focused workplace."
