Textron Automotive Trim Names Jovita Thomas-Williams Vice President, Human Resources

    TROY, Mich., March 23 -- Textron Automotive Company Inc.
(TAC) Trim Division solidifies its human resources executive team with the
appointment of Jovita Thomas-Williams to the position of Vice President, Human
Resources.  In her new position, Ms. Thomas-Williams will report directly to
Mr. Sam Licavoli, President, Trim Division, and will have responsibility for
all Trim Division global human resources, specifically strategic human
resources planning, compensation and organizational and executive development.
    "We are delighted to have Jovita join the Trim team," said Mr. Licavoli.
"Her extensive professional background in the human resources arena, combined
with her considerable automotive experience, will be a welcomed asset to
Textron Automotive Trim."
    Ms. Thomas-Williams most recently held the position of Director of Human
Resources for the Automotive Sector of AlliedSignal, Southfield, Michigan.
Her prior experience includes human resources positions with Pepsi-Cola
Company and Ford Motor Company.
    Ms. Thomas-Williams holds a BS from Tuskegee Institute, Tuskegee, Alabama,
and an MBA and MILR from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.
