Detroit 'Same-Sex on the Job Sexual Harassment' Lawsuits To Move to National Importance After U.S. Supreme Court Ruling, According to Bill McMaster of McMaster Marketing & PRDETROIT, March 10 -- The following was released by Bill McMaster of McMaster Marketing & PR, plaintiff in "McMaster vs Krug" in Wayne County Circuit Court: The March 4 ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court to recognize the fact that "same-sex on the job sexual harassment" is illegal conduct for employers will likely move five lawsuits against Krug Lincoln-Mercury in Dearborn and Krug Chevrolet in Taylor to national importance. Three former auto salesmen of Krug Lincoln-Mercury, and two current employees of Krug Chevrolet, have individual lawsuits progressing through the Wayne County Circuit Court in Detroit claiming multi-million dollar compensation for being damaged by Sigmund Krug, 75, president of the $100 million-a-year in sales Krug Lincoln-Mercury dealership, and by his sons Greg, 48, and Mike, 45. Greg and Mike are now general managers of additional Krug auto dealerships in Taylor and Howell. AGGRESSIVE DEVIANT SEXUAL CONDUCT NOT FRATERNITY HORSEPLAY In court documents relating how they were repeatedly sexually harassed at different times by Krug family members, the victims related their experiences. "Charles Weise vs Krug Lincoln-Mercury," Case Nos. 96-633225-CK and 97-729307-NO, Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Paul S. Teranes. "Michael Kerr vs Krug Lincoln-Mercury," Case No. 97-718860-CK, Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Claudia House Morcom. "Robert Nozicka vs Krug Lincoln-Mercury," Case No. 97-721668-NC, Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Michael J. Talbot. "William Coleman, Jr. vs Krug," Case No. 98-804773, Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Louis F. Simmons Jr. "Gill vs Krug," Case No. 98-804776-NZ, Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Sharon Tevis Finch. KRUGS' DEVIANT SEXUAL HARASSMENT WORSE THAN THE OIL RIGGER CASE The Detroit cases describe more aggressive deviant sexual harassment by management members of the Krug family against their employees than the sexual harassment exposed in "Joseph Oncale vs Sundowner Offshore Services, Inc." recently decided by the U.S. Supreme Court and referred back to the local court in Louisiana where it started in 1991. KRUG EFFORT TO OBTAIN GAG ORDER ON PR MAN BILL McMASTER FAILED In an effort to stifle their Wayne County victims' constitutional right to freedom of speech, and the ability of the Wayne County residents to tell their factually documented true stories to Detroit area news media, the Krug family asked Cheboygan County Circuit Court Judge Robert C. Livo to gag the three fired salesmen victims, their attorney, and PR man William D. McMaster. The Krug family also owns Krug Rivertown Motors, a Ford, Lincoln-Mercury and Jeep dealership in Cheboygan and went forum shopping to cover up their aggressive on-the-job homosexual harassment of straight employees at their two auto dealerships in Wayne County. After four court hearings over five weeks, Judge Livo finally refused on March 4 to gag McMaster, 59, and McMaster Marketing & PR. Krug amassed three law firms against McMaster who represented himself because he felt, as a professional writer for 37 years, he could better defend the First Amendment Right to Free Speech than lawyers. The losing attorneys for the Krug family were: David L. Nelson of Sommers, Schwartz, Silver & Schwartz in Southfield; Michael J. Hackett (former Prosecutor in Cheboygan County) of Lynch, Gallagher, Lynch & Martineau in Mt. Pleasant; and Keith B. Romich of Fisher & Phillips in Atlanta, Georgia. After extensive earlier hearings in Detroit, two Wayne County Circuit Court judges banned Romich and colleague Trisha Martin Earls from practicing law in Michigan because they were engaging in improper conduct and are not licensed. Whimpered Krug Attorney David Nelson, 66, on the record after Cheboygan County Circuit Court Judge Livo ruled against them: "McMaster is now free to issue a blizzard of news releases about the Krugs." LAWYERS FOR OTHER AUTO DEALERSHIPS TRIED TO INTIMIDATE McMASTER FROM ASSISTING NEWS MEDIA'S EXERCISE OF FREEDOM OF THE PRESS AND THE PUBLIC'S RIGHT TO KNOW ABOUT SEXUAL HARASSMENT BY KRUGS One of the 143 lawyers of Butzel Long, Robert J. Battista in the Detroit office of Michigan's fifth largest law firm, wrote McMaster on behalf of John Evans, President of Stu Evans Lincoln-Mercury in Garden City, Michigan. Within two pages of threats, Attorney Battista stated: "This letter is to again protest the distribution and/or mailing of such offensive and distasteful material (McMaster's December 17, 1997 'Open Letter to Detroit Area News Media') and to demand that such distribution and/or mailings stop immediately. Indeed, such mailings could well be unlawful under 18 USC S 1461 which prohibits the mailing of 'obscene ... indecent, filthy or vile article(s)' and subjects a person violating the statute to fines of up to $5,000 and imprisonment of up to five years in the first instance, and fines of up to $10,000 and imprisonment of up to ten years for each subsequent occurrence. "Should you ignore this request, we shall pursue all avenues of legal redress available to see that this unwanted and unwelcome conduct is stopped." KRUG FAMILY AND THEIR LAWYERS RETAINED DETROIT PR FIRM TO DISCREDIT AND DEFAME THE MESSENGER OF TRUTH Attorneys for the Krug family did not disclose to Judge Livo in Cheboygan, or to the judges who have drawn Krug sexual harassment cases in Wayne County Circuit Court, that they had several weeks earlier retained the Detroit public relations firm of Angie Bournias Creative Services to represent them with news media relations. McMASTER'S TURN On Jan. 5, 1998, McMaster filed a $2 million defamation lawsuit against the Krug family and their Fisher & Phillips law firm for conducting a campaign to discredit him and his PR firm as reliable, truthful news sources to Detroit area news media. REF: "McMaster vs Krug," Case No. 98-800153-CZ, Wayne County Circuit Court Judge John A. Murphy After McMaster filed his lawsuit in Detroit, the Krug family sought to convince the Cheboygan Judge Livo that he should issue a gag order on McMaster's 100% factually correct professional work with Detroit area news media. Their conspiracy failed. JUSTICE THROUGH DUE PROCESS All five lawsuits filed by victims of sexual harassment while employed by the Krugs are continuing through due process in Wayne County Circuit Courts. So is McMaster's case for defamation. SOURCE McMaster Marketing & PR
