Nissan Names Mark Grimm to Regional Vice President Post for Its Northeast RegionCARSON, Calif., March 5 -- Continuing efforts to strengthen market standing and maintain its strong Northeast sales position, Nissan Motor Corporation U.S.A. (NMC) has named Mark Grimm to the post of regional vice president, Northeast Region, effective immediately. Grimm replaces Mike Seergy who was named vice president and general manager of Nissan Division on February 20. Grimm will be responsible for managing all aspect of Nissan's Northeast regional operations, including service, sales and parts distribution of Nissan products to 192 dealers in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Delaware and Eastern Pennsylvania. Grimm joined Nissan in 1984 as the manager of regional business management in Nissan's Norfolk Region. He has held numerous management positions in the company, including manager of field sales, assistant regional sales manager for the company's Norfolk Region, assistant regional sales manager for Infiniti Division, merchandising manager at NMC, regional sales manager for Boston and dealer operations manager for the Northeast Region. Most recently, he held the position of assistant regional manager for Nissan's North Central Region. A 20-year veteran of the automotive industry, Grimm has held several positions at Ford Motor Company, including car merchandising manager, light truck merchandising manager and field manager. Grimm holds a bachelor of arts in history from La Salle College and an MBA in Finance from Seton Hall University.
