Michigan Rivet Corporation Announces First Quarter Results

    WARREN, Mich., March 2 -- Michigan Rivet Corporation
announced its results of operations for the first quarter ended January 31,
1998.
    Sales for the quarter ended January 31, 1998 were $10,450,000, up 5.5%
from the same quarter in 1997.  Net income was $372,000 or $.58 per share as
compared to a net income of $.19 per share in the comparable period a year
ago.
