Dana's Magliochetti to Speak at AIAG Outstanding Achievement Awards DinnerSOUTHFIELD, Mich., March 2 -- Joseph M. Magliochetti, president and chief operating officer (COO) of Dana Corporation , will deliver the keynote address at the Automotive Industry Action Group's (AIAG) Outstanding Achievement Awards Dinner on Tuesday, September 1, 1998, held in conjunction with AIAG's annual AUTO-TECH Conference & Exposition scheduled for Detroit's Cobo Center Sept. 1-3, 1998. An estimated 500 executives from automakers, truck manufacturers and supplier companies are expected to attend the 11th annual dinner to honor individuals and member companies for their outstanding volunteer efforts with AIAG. Magliochetti, who has direct operating responsibility for all of Dana Corporation's domestic and international operations, will discuss the keys to supplier survival in the next millennium. Magliochetti has been president of Dana Corporation since 1996 and COO since 1997. Prior to this he was president of Dana's North America Operations from 1992 to 1996. Magliochetti has more than 30 years of service with Dana Corporation, including five years as president of Dana Europe. Dana Corporation is a global leader in the engineering, manufacture and distribution of products and systems for the automotive, heavy truck, off- highway, engine and industrial markets. It also operates a leasing services business, Dana Commercial Credit. Founded in 1904 and based in Toledo, Ohio, Dana operates facilities in 30 countries and employs more than 50,000 people. Tickets for the Outstanding Achievement Awards Dinner on September 1, 1998, are $60 for AIAG members and $90 for non-members. Registration for the three-day AIAG AUTO-TECH conference -- including admission to all of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday educational sessions, keynote luncheon and exhibition -- costs $700 for employees of AIAG member organizations and $900 for non-members. Individuals registering before Aug. 1 will receive a $100 discount.
