SoftAd Expands Ford Operations Larger Offices in Detroit, New Office in London

DEARBORN, Mich., Feb. 23 -- SoftAd, Inc., a leading provider
of enterprise-wide sales and marketing automation software headquartered in
Mill Valley, California, is dramatically expanding its full-service office in
Dearborn, Michigan in addition to opening a full-service European operation in
London, England during first quarter 1998. This expansion is a result of the
growing needs of long-term SoftAd client Ford Motor Company . SoftAd
is a strategic implementation partner of Internet, Intranet, and Extranet
technology initiatives for Ford, and has established crucial interactive
commerce initiatives for over 50 Ford divisions and groups worldwide.
Paula George Tompkins, CEO and founder of SoftAd, said, "With the
explosive overall growth of SoftAd and the tremendous relationship we have
established with Ford Motor Company over the past 14 years, we felt it was
important to provide more resources closer to our Ford customers."
Since first opening the Detroit operation in 1996, SoftAd has tripled its
staff there and plans to extensively supplement that over the next 12 months.
In conjunction with this expansion, SoftAd has acquired a larger office in
Dearborn's Fairlane Office Centre.
SoftAd is also expanding into the European market by opening a full-
service office in London, England. Chuck Norman, named SoftAd's Director of
European Operations, will be heading up all project- and administrative-
related activities. Matthew Goulden will join SoftAd as its European Director
of Sales and Marketing on March 2, 1998.
