Technical Training Goes Into High Gear

   'Lincoln Tech Announces Official Pit Crew Sponsorship and Student Intern
               Program for the Geoff Bodine Race Team in 1998'

    WEST ORANGE, N.J., Feb. 19 / -- Lincoln Technical Institute, one of the
nation's top vocational technical schools devoted to specialized automotive
training, has signed on for a second year as official sponsor of the Geoff
Bodine NASCAR Race Team Pit Crew.  The school has also announced the formation
of a student internship program that will place 8 Lincoln Tech students on the
Bodine pit crew for designated races during the 1998 Winston Cup season.
    "We plan on selecting the best and the brightest from among our students
and giving them the opportunity to experience first-hand the demands and
challenges of technical support for a world class race team," stated Pat
Santangelo, president and CEO of Lincoln Tech.  "We are especially pleased to
be able to continue our association with Geoff and his team because we believe
their commitment to excellence in racing parallels our own commitment to
automotive excellence for students in Lincoln Tech classrooms."
    An advocate of technical training, Bodine will be partnering with Lincoln
Tech for the second consecutive season in this first-of-its-kind pit crew
sponsorship.  "I believe technical education can not only provide an
individual with exceptional training skills, but can better prepare an
individual for the future," remarked Bodine, who is especially excited about
bringing students in to work with his pit crew.  "This internship program will
now allow my team to join in the training process and help prepare talented
young technicians for a career in racing."
    Bodine began his career in NASCAR Winston Cup racing in 1979.  Among
active drivers, he holds the eighth place position in total Winston Cup
victories and was named this year to the elite list of NASCAR's 50 greatest
