Chrysler Corporation Recognizes Peregrine Incorporated Warren Plant As One of Its Top Suppliers

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Feb. 5 -- Chrysler Corporation
has recognized Peregrine Incorporated's Warren Operations as one of its top
suppliers for 1997 with its Gold Pentastar Award for supply excellence.
    The gold award is presented to suppliers in recognition of outstanding
performance in the areas of quality, delivery and warranty.
    This is the second consecutive year the Warren facility has received the
Chrysler Pentastar Award.  It is the first year it has been awarded under
Peregrine management.
    "Peregrine's Warren facility had zero defects with Chrysler for the
1997 model year for products we produced," said Lorne Greenwood, Plant
Manager, Warren Operations.  "It shows Peregrine's dedication to quality and
commitment to continuous improvement."
    Peregrine Warren Operations supplies Chrysler with a variety of stamped
underbody and chassis components for its full-size van, the Durango SUV and
the Dakota truck.
    Peregrine Incorporated supplies interior and exterior products to the
automotive industry through manufacturing operations in Battle Creek, Flint,
Jackson, Livonia, and Warren, Mich.; Oshawa and Windsor, Ontario; and
Matamoros, Mexico.  The company has annual sales of more than $1.1 billion and
employs approximately 5,500 people.  Peregrine Incorporated was formed by
Joseph Littlejohn and Levy, a private investment partnership, on Dec. 31,
1996.
