Chrysler Announces 1998 Annual Meeting

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Feb. 5 -- Chrysler Corporation
today announced that its 1998 Annual Meeting of Shareholders will be held
May 21, 1998, in Englewood, Colorado, approximately 10 miles outside of
Denver.
    The meeting will start at 9 a.m. Local Time, and be held in the Inverness
Hotel, 200 Inverness Drive West, Englewood, CO.  Shareholders of record at the
close of business on March 23, 1998, will be entitled to vote at the 1998
Annual Meeting.
    The 1997 annual meeting was held at the Washington State Convention and
Trade Center in Seattle, WA.
