Land Rover Reports January SalesLANHAM, Md., Feb. 3 -- Land Rover North America, Inc. today reported January sales of 1,307 compared to the 1,425 units sold in January 1997. Charles R. Hughes, President, Land Rover North America, Inc., said, "We enter 1998, the year we celebrate Land Rover's 50th Anniversary, full of enthusiasm after closing out 1997 with record sales and the best month ever -- December -- for Range Rover. Continuing to grow sales in 1998 will be a challenge, but all of us at Land Rover love a challenge."
