Michigan Rivet Corporation Announces Results of Operations For the Fourth Quarter and Year Ended October 31, 1997

    WARREN, Mich., Jan. 27 -- Michigan Rivet Corporation
announced its results of operations for the fourth quarter and year ended
October 31, 1997.
    Sales for the quarter ended October 31, 1997 were $11,760,000, about the
same as the comparable period in 1996.  Net income was $784,000 or  $1.23 per
share for quarter ended October 31, 1997 compared to $.81 per share in 1996.
    For the year ended October 31, 1997, sales were  $43,013,000, up 3% from
1996.  Net income was $1,527,000 or $2.39 per share compared to a net income
of $1,333,000 or $2.09 per share in 1996.
