ASHA Announces Three New Board Members, Elects OfficersManagement is Now Positioned for the Next Century SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Jan. 26 -- At a meeting held on January 23, 1998, ASHA Corporation's Board of Directors appointed three new members: David Jones, President and CEO of Outboard Marine Corporation; Jack McCormack, President and Chief Operating Officer of ASHA, and Kenneth Black, Vice President of Sales & Marketing of ASHA. Following the appointments, the Board voted to elect McCormack as ASHA Chairman and CEO. He replaces Alain J.M. Clenet who has retired. Kenneth Black was elected Executive Vice President. Larry Cohen was elected Vice Chairman. ASHA's Board now consists of five independent Directors and two operational members: Robert Sinclair, retired Chairman and CEO of SAAB USA; Erick A. Reickert, retired Chairman and CEO of Chrysler de Mexico, Acustar, Inc. and New Venture Gear; Nick Bartolini, retired Vice President, Parts and Services Operations, Ford Europe; David Jones, Outboard Marine Corporation; Larry Cohen, Retired Chairman of BioTime, Inc. and ASHA's McCormack and Black.
