ASHA Corporation Announces the Retirement of Clenet As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

    SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Jan. 13 -- ASHA Corporation
announces the retirement of Alain J-M Clenet, effective
immediately.
    Mr. Clenet was founder of ASHA and until his retirement was Chairman and
C.E.O. of the Corporation.  His responsibilities will be handled by current
President and C.O.O., Mr. Jack McCormack.
    In a related transaction, Mr. Clenet has sold a majority of his interest
in the company to Mr. Lawrence Cohen, a director of the Company, and to
several other independent investors.
    Mr. Clenet has agreed to be available for consulting for ASHA Corporation
and remains a share holder.
