Rinke Toyota to Celebrate Grand Opening of New Facilty With Samurai Sword Presentation

CENTERLINE, Mich., Jan. 5 -- Rinke Toyota will celebrate the
grand opening of its newly constructed dealership facility Tuesday, January 6
at 3 p.m. It has been under construction since May 1997 when the original
dealership building was demolished.
The event will be highlighted by the presentation of a hand-crafted Katana
sword to owner Kevin Rinke by Yoshi Ishizaka, Toyota Motor Sales president and
chief executive officer.
Ishizaka will also participate in the dealership's ribbon cutting
ceremony. He will be accompanied by Dave Illingworth, senior vice president
and general manager - Toyota division, as well as other Toyota executives.
"As one of the leading volume Toyota dealerships in the Detroit Metro
area, we needed to modernize our facility to meet the needs of our customers,"
said owner, Kevin Rinke. "We are honored to have Mr. Ishizaka and Mr.
Illingworth as well as all the other guests from Toyota attending our grand
opening."
Rinke Toyota is the third largest Toyota dealer in the Detroit Metro area
with over 900 new Toyotas sold annually. The original 41,000 square foot
dealership building has been replaced with a modern 32,000 square foot
facility to allow for improved customer service and parking, and a larger
inventory.
Rinke Toyota has been located at 25420 Van Dyke Avenue in Centerline since
1982.
