Michigan Rivet Corporation Declares Dividend

    WARREN, Mich., Dec. 18 -- The Board of Directors of Michigan
Rivet Corporation declared a dividend of twelve cents ($.12) per share payable
January 26, 1998 to Shareholders of Record as of January 2, 1998.
    Michigan Rivet Corporation produces specialty fasteners for the automotive
industry.  Its manufacturing facilities are located in Warren and Petoskey,
Michigan.  Michigan Rivet's stock is traded on Michigan Over-the-Counter.
