Rosencrance Named General Manager of Intermet Aluminum FoundryTROY, Mich., Dec. 17 -- Intermet Corporation today announced that James A. Rosencrance has been named general manager of its Alexander City Castings aluminum foundry in Alexander City, Alabama. Rosencrance comes to Intermet from Outboard Marine Corporation where he held a number of manufacturing positions, most recently as plant manager of the OMC Spruce Pine lost foam aluminum plant in Spruce Pine, North Carolina. Prior to this he was manufacturing manager for Regency Textiles, Inc. in Calhoun, Georgia and a production manager for Bekaert Steel Wire Corporation in Rome, Georgia. He has a B.S. degree in Industrial Management from Georgia Institute of Technology. Troy-based Intermet Corporation and its subsidiaries design and manufacture precision iron and aluminum castings for automotive and industrial equipment manufacturers worldwide, produce precision machined components, cranes and specialty service vehicles, and provide custom coating applications.
