Haden, Inc. Awarded ISO 9001 Certification

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Dec. 17 -- Haden, Inc. announces that it
has received the ISO 9001 Quality Systems Certification.  As a member of the
United Kingdom (U.K.) based Haden MacLellan Holdings Group of Process
Engineering and Services Companies, Haden is a world leader in providing
painting and metal finishing systems.
    British Standards Institution (BSI), a U.K. firm considered an authority
on management systems, conducted the auditing and certification process.  The
certification process, which normally requires 18 to 24 months to complete,
was issued in just under a year, exemplifying Haden's high quality and
management control standards.
    "We believe the ISO 9001 designation recognizes Haden's overall commitment
to the highest quality standards in our industry as well as the dedication
that our employees and management teams maintain in satisfying our customers,"
said Ken Dargatz, President and CEO.
    "The ISO 9001 designation is an important step for Haden in further
business development and expansion into new markets," added Jerry Hotujac,
Senior Vice President.
    The Geneva-based International Organization for Standardization (ISO), a
worldwide federation comprised of members from more than 100 countries, was
founded in 1987 to promote development of international standards.  The ISO
9001 Quality Standard is internationally recognized as a "model for quality
assurance in design, development, production, installation and servicing."
    Haden, Inc. is recognized internationally for achievements in research and
development in the areas of paint finishing equipment and environmental
technology used by the automotive, aerospace, agricultural and general
manufacturing industries.
