Volkswagen Reports Best November Sales Since 1987

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Dec. 3 -- With sales of 9,863,
Volkswagen of America, Inc. reported its best November sales since 1987.  This
figure represents an 8.2 percent increase from last November's strong results
of 9,116.
    For the year, Volkswagen sales are 125,769 compared to last year's figure
of 126,094.
