Land Rover Reports November SalesLANHAM, Md., Dec. 2 -- Land Rover North America, Inc. today reported November retail sales of 1,639 units. This compares to the 2,172 units sold in November 1996. Charles R. Hughes, President, LRNA, said, "We have enjoyed good sales in 1997 and hope to carry that momentum to year's end. In November, showroom traffic was heavy, but our supply of 1998 vehicles was still below ideal levels, which made it hard to meet the strong demand." Note: Due to a sale not accounted for earlier in the year, Discovery Y-T-D and total Y-T-D sales increased by one.
