Ceco Environmental Receives Large Order from Ford Motor

    TORONTO, Dec. 1 -- Ceco Environmental Corp.
today announced that its Ceco Filters, Inc. subsidiary received a major order
from Ford Motor Company .  Ceco Filters is to provide an air quality
improvement system specifically designed to clean in plant air from oil mist
and meet or exceed all necessary requirements.  Building on its previous
successful installations at Ford Motor Company, Ceco plans to deliver the
state-of-the-art system by the end of 1997.
    Ceco Environmental Corp., through its five subsidiaries, is involved in a
wide spectrum of the air quality management and pollution control industries.
Ceco Filters, Inc. of Conshohocken, Pa., manufactures and sells industrial air
filters known as fiber bed mist eliminators.  Air Purator Corporation of
Taunton, Mass., manufactures the Huyglass family of high-performance filter
fabrics for the bag house industry.  Compliance Systems International of
Carlsbad, Calif., owns the exclusive patent rights to the Catenary Grid
Scrubber that controls gas and particulate emissions.  U.S. Facilities
Management of Phoenix, Ariz., provides environmental maintenance, monitoring
and management services.  Busch Co. of Pittsburgh, Pa., supplies air handling
and air quality improvement systems to the metal working industry and serves
major producers in the steel and aluminum industry.
