Safety-Kleen Corp. Declares Fourth Quarter Cash Dividend

    ELGIN, Ill., Nov. 21 -- Safety-Kleen Corp.
announced today that its Board of Directors approved a quarterly cash dividend
of $0.09 per share, payable December 24, 1997 to all shareholders of record on
December 11, 1997.  Safety-Kleen has consistently paid quarterly cash
dividends since March 1979.
