Ford Land and Alliance 2000 Are Honored for Best PracticesDEARBORN, Mich., Nov. 20 -_ Ford Motor Land Services Corporation, CB Commercial (CBC)/Madison Advisory Group and Cushman & Wakefield Worldwide (C&W) have been honored with the International Development Research Council's (IDRC) 1997 Best Practices Award for service delivery. This award is presented annually to companies that provide excellence in corporate real estate services. CBC/Madison Advisory Group and C&W received this award for their global real estate service delivery system which provides Ford Land with comprehensive services -- both globally and domestically. "We are all proud of the recognition of this unprecedented global partnership by the IDRC," said Sean McCourt, vice president of global real estate, Ford Land. Alliance 2000 which is a strategic alliance between CBC/Madison Advisory Group and C&W, two of the world's largest real estate firms, is a key component of this unique real estate delivery system. Alliance 2000 has enabled Ford Land to reduce costs, shorten cycle times, improve quality, and increase customer satisfaction by strategically outsourcing selected responsibilities globally. The awards were presented at the 1997 IDRC World Congress in San Diego, California, on November 18, 1997. Other corporations nominated for 1997 Best Practices Awards, in this and other categories, include Bank of America, IBM, Kodak, Lockheed Martin, Mobil, Norfolk Southern Railroad, Nortel, Sprint and Sun Microsystems.
