Kia Sales Remain Strong in October

    IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 3 -- Kia Motors America today announced
October sales of 5,913 vehicles.  Retail sales for October were slightly lower
than September sales, which reflected the highest total since sales began in
February 1994.  However, October sales of the Sephia compact sedan and
Sportage sport-utility vehicle remained strong, dominating last year's figures
by more than 60 percent.
