Echlin Automotive Announces Organizational RestructuringAUBURN HILLS, Mich., Nov. 3 -- Allan Cameron, president of Echlin Automotive, today announced organizational changes within several business units. The changes, effective immediately, are part of a recent announcement by parent company, Echlin Inc., to make Echlin Automotive one of five operating groups. "As we grow Echlin Automotive to compete in the global market, we are empowering these individuals to lead these core business units," said Cameron. "Each of them have made outstanding contributions to our growth and we look forward to continuing this trend." The organizational changes within Echlin Automotive follow: * Grant Beard, from Echlin Automotive, vice president - sales and marketing, to president, Preferred Technical Group. * Jim Canfield, from general manager, Preferred Technical Group to president, Epic Technical Group. * Tim Hylen, from general manager, Epic Technical Group to Echlin Automotive, vice president - sales and marketing. * Stu McGowan, from manufacturing director, Preferred Technical Group to managing director, Hobourn Automotive. * Herb Wilden, from director of Human Resources, Fluid Systems Group to Echlin Automotive, vice president, human resources. * Paul Burman, from sales director, SU Automotive, Echlin Automotive Europe director of Sales & Marketing.
