MANN+HUMMEL's Automotive Aftermarket Division Makes Their North American Debut At the Automotive Aftermarket Show in Las VegasLAS VEGAS, Nov. 3 -- MANN+HUMMEL Service, a division of MANN+HUMMEL, GmbH of Ludwigsburg, Germany, will introduce their full line of filtration products to the North American market at the Automotive Aftermarket Show in Las Vegas, Nevada from November 4-7. MANN+HUMMEL Service recently established a North American Headquarters together with MANN+HUMMEL Automotive in Southfield, Michigan. The two divisions comprise the total Automotive Group and together cover aftermarket, OES and OEM applications. For the Service division, the Southfield office will function as a sales and service center for North American business. Featured at the show will be the company's complete range of aftermarket and OES products including air, oil, fuel and cabin filters which are marketed under the MANN-FILTER brand name. Also exhibited will be MANN+HUMMEL's Original Equipment filter applications such as oil filter modules, air cleaners and complete air induction systems. Though this will mark the Service division's first major appearance in a North American show, MANN+HUMMEL boasts over 50 years of experience in the manufacture and supply of automotive filtration products for European and Asian applications. Long-time OEM customers include BMW, GM Europe, Honda, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Peugeot, Porsche, Renault, Rolls-Royce, Saab, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo to name a few. Currently, MANN+HUMMEL is highly involved in the development and production of cabin filters, a relatively new field in automotive filtration. To support this latest effort, MANN+HUMMEL recently established a joint venture company with Blucher GmbH, who brings 25 years experience in the field of adsorptive materials. A highlight of the MANN+HUMMEL display will be their latest offerings in cabin filters including particle filters which can eliminate pollen, dust, soot and asbestos from vehicle cabins and combination particle and odor filters which, with activated charcoal, can additionally eliminate odors. With sales of $855 million annually, MANN+HUMMEL GmbH is organized into two divisions, automotive and industrial. The automotive division which serves both the OEM and Aftermarket represents nearly 80% of the total sales.
