Hayes Lemmerz International to Supply Cast Aluminum Wheels for Dodge Durango

    ROMULUS, Mich., Oct. 30 -- Hayes Lemmerz International, Inc.
has received a contract from Chrysler Corporation to
supply cast aluminum wheels for the all-new 1998 Dodge Durango sport-utility
vehicle.  The contract is valued in excess of $15 million.
    The wheels are being produced at the company's manufacturing facility in
Howell, Michigan.  Shipment will begin this fall.

part of the new Dodge Durango, an exciting new addition to this exploding
North American market."
