Hilite Achieves QS-9000 and ISO 9002 Certification At Specialty Components and Assemblies Division
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill., Oct. 29 -- Hilite Industries, Inc.
announced today that its specialty components and assemblies
division, otherwise known as North American Spring and Stamping Company,
(NASS), achieved QS-9000 and ISO 9002 certification following an independent
audit conducted by BVQi Bureau Veritas Quality International. These
certifications are internationally recognized standards of quality, delivery
and performance. QS-9000 is specific to the automotive industry, while ISO
9002 is a general quality system standard. The brake valve and power
transmission components divisions of Hilite located in Dallas/Fort Worth,
obtained their QS-9000 certification last year.
Sam Berry, Hilite's President and Chief Operating Officer, commented,
"Obtaining these certifications is the result of hard work and effort by all
personnel at this division and we take pride in this great achievement. This
accomplishment satisfies an important objective of our restructuring plan for
