Textron Automotive Trim Operations Names Adgild Hop Managing Director - Europe

    TROY, Mich., Oct. 27 -- Textron Automotive Company - Trim
Operations today announced the appointment of Adgild Hop as Managing Director
- Europe, based in The Netherlands.  Adgild will report to Mike Mitchell,
Executive Vice President, Business and Product Development.
    Mr. Hop will have responsibility for directing the growth of Trim
Operation's worldwide business with OEMs headquartered in Europe.
    "Adgild's appointment brings an abundance of Automotive experience in
development and expansion of European markets.  His extensive background in
plastics compliments Trim's product market," said Sam Licavoli, President,
Trim Operations.
    Mr. Hop most recently served as Director of European Automotive Business
Development at GE Plastics.  He also spent seven years with GE Plastics -
North America, with increasing responsibility that led to his position of
General Manager of Automotive in Detroit.  Prior to that, he was employed by
Honda and Volvo.
    Mr. Hop is a graduate of the Institute for Industrial Design, Eindhoven,
The Netherlands.
