Shigenori Asoh Appointed President, ITT Automotive, JapanAUBURN HILLS, Mich., Oct. 20 -- ITT Automotive today announced the appointment of Shigenori Asoh to the position of President, ITT Automotive, Japan. Mr. Asoh came to ITT Automotive from the Nissan Trading Co., Ltd., where he most recently served as Managing Director. He will report to Ronald J. Gilchrist, senior vice president, Sales and Marketing for ITT Automotive's worldwide organization. In his new post, Mr. Asoh will be responsible for establishing and implementing ITT Automotive's Japan strategy in coordination with Asia Pacific headquarters. He will be charged with developing and enhancing customer relationships, ensuring positive sales results, and communicating the needs of Japanese clients to ITT Automotive engineers and management. In addition to managing the Japan subsidiary, Mr. Asoh will represent the parent company to clients, industry and government. Mr. Asoh holds a degree in Economics from Kelo University in Tokyo, and resides in Kanagawa, Japan.
