Chrysler Reports U.S. and Canadian Assembly Plants Schedule For Week of October 20, 1997

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Oct. 16 -- Chrysler Corporation
reports all nine of its U.S. assembly plants and two of its three
Canadian assembly plants will operate the week of October 20.
    Jefferson-North (Detroit, Mich.) will operate three seven-and-a-half hour
shifts during the week and three seven-and-a-half hour shifts on Saturday,
October 18.  Belvidere (IL.), Newark (Del.) and St. Louis-South (Fenton, Mo.)
will operate two eight-hour shifts.  Conner Ave. (Mich.) will operate one
eight-hour shift.  Sterling Heights (Mich.) and Toledo (Ohio) will operate two
eight-hour shifts during the week and two eight-hour shifts on Saturday,
October 18.  Dodge City Complex-Warren (Mich.) and St. Louis-North (Fenton,
Mo.) will operate two nine-hour shifts during the week and two eight-hour
shifts on Saturday, October 18.
    In Ontario, Canada, Windsor Assembly Plant will operate three seven-and-a-
half hour shifts during the week.  Bramalea will operate two eight-hour
shifts.  Pillette will not operate due to model changeover.
