ANAHEIM, Calif., Oct. 16 -- Odetics, Inc.
, a leading manufacturer of information management
products, was recently selected for two intelligent transportation projects
totaling over $4 million with the cities of Fontana, Calif., and Jinan, Shan

"These are the first two major competitive wins for the Odetics ITS
Transportation Systems Group since the Rockwell International acquisition,"
explained Ed Rowe, Odetics ITS Division vice president. "By applying Odetics'
digital video and data management technology to the transportation industry,
Odetics is well positioned for the global intelligent transportation market."
The Fontana/Ontario Advanced Transportation Management and Information
