Budd Elects Nancy L. Hutcheson Corporate Vice President, General Counsel And SecretaryTROY, Mich., Oct. 15 -- The Budd Company's Chairman & CEO, Siegfried Buschmann, announced today that Budd's Board of Directors has appointed Nancy L. Hutcheson Corporate Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of the company. She had been Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary from February to September 1997. She was hired in August of 1994 as Assistant General Counsel. Prior to joining Budd, Hutcheson had been a partner with Detroit's Hill Lewis (now Clark Hill) law firm. She holds a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School (cum laude 1976) and a B.A. from the University of Michigan, where she graduated with honors in 1972. Hutcheson is currently Treasurer of the American Corporate Counsel Association, Michigan Chapter, and was past president of Boys and Girls Republic, a residential treatment facility for troubled youth. She also served as chairperson of the Trade Regulation and Antitrust Council of the State Bar of Michigan. She and her husband live in Birmingham, Michigan. The Budd Company is a leading supplier of automotive components. Headquartered in Troy, Michigan, it produces components such as doors, fenders, roofs, hoods, decklids, etc., in sheet metal, as well as in sheet molded composite (SMC), and grey iron and ductile iron castings for 100 current vehicle models.
