Gail Parker Aldrich To Lead AAA Human Resources Division

    SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 3 -- Gail Parker Aldrich, former Vice
President of Human Resources and Corporate Secretary for Failure Analysis
Associates, has joined the executive team at AAA in northern California,
Nevada and Utah.
    Ms. Aldrich will serve as Vice President of AAA's Human Resource Division.
She will be responsible for all HR programs and services including employee
relations, compensation, benefits, staffing, Human Resources Information
Systems, workforce effectiveness and learning and development.  "Gail's broad
experience in human resources and vast knowledge of customer-focused
organizations makes her the ideal person to support AAA's delivery of world
class service and products," said AAA President Jim Molinelli.
    During her tenure with Failure Analysis Associates, Ms. Parker provided
leadership for all aspects of human resource management, facilities management
and corporate services.  Prior to this assignment, Ms. Parker held top human
resource leadership positions with Electric Power Research Institute.
    Ms. Parker is actively involved in professional and community activities.
She served as Chair of the Society for Human Resource Management in 1994, and
continues to remain active in the local chapters.  She is also a member of the
American Association of University Women.
    Ms. Parker holds a B.S. in Eastern Language and Literature from Eastern
Michigan University, and is a graduate of the UCLA Advanced Executive Program.
