Textron Automotive Trim Operations Appoints Genichiro Yanigita Vice President and General Manager - InternationalTROY, Mich., Sept. 29 -- Textron Automotive Company - Trim Operations announced today that Genichiro (Gen) Yanigita has been named Vice President and General Manager - International, reporting to Mike Mitchell, Executive Vice President, Business and Product Development. Mr. Yanigita will be responsible for product development, program management and growth and maintenance of worldwide incremental business from the OEMs headquartered in Asia. "Mr. Yanigita brings a wealth of experience to Textron Automotive Trim Operations. His extensive, diversified experience in the OEM segment supports our strategic objectives in global expansion," said Sam Licavoli, President, Trim Operations. Mr. Yanigita most recently served as Director, OEM Sales for Monroe Auto Equipment Company where he was responsible for managing and directing sales operations, coordinating sales support to Japanese OEMs worldwide, and managing sales and marketing plans. Prior to that, he held various management positions at Tenneco Automotive Japan, Ltd. in the areas of Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and Business Planning. Mr. Yanigita graduated from the National Defense Academy of Japan with a major in Applied Physics with emphasis in Electrical and Aeronautical Engineering.
