Teletrac Closes on $30 Million Credit Facility

    KANSAS CITY, Mo., Sept. 24 -- Teletrac, Inc., a leading
provider of vehicle location and fleet management services in metropolitan
areas, announced today it has closed on a $30 million revolving credit
facility.  The credit facility co-agents are Banque Paribas and Fleet National
Bank.  Teletrac plans to use this credit facility for general corporate
purposes.
    The company also recently announced the completion of a $105 million debt
offering to fund expenditures for the continued construction, development and
roll-out of its networks and services, including site construction, marketing
costs and the purchase of system hardware.  The new markets planned for
expansion include San Francisco, Washington, D.C., New York, Philadelphia, and
Boston, among others.
    Teletrac's services are currently available in the metropolitan markets of
Los Angeles, San Francisco, Detroit, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Orlando and
Miami.  The company has approximately 70,000 units in service today.
Companies currently using Teletrac's system include:  Emery Air Freight, Inc.,
Budget Rent-a-Car Corporation, Brinks Incorporated, Roto Rooter Corp., Tele-
Communications, Inc. and Dallas Independent School District.  The company's
