Lear Announces Promotions at its Fiat Division

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Sept. 24 --  Lear Corporation
today announced the promotions of Alan Jones, Roberto Forni and Massimo Zagati
at the company's Fiat Division, headquartered in Turin, Italy.
    Alan Jones is appointed Vice President Operations -- Fiat Division.  In
his new assignment, Mr. Jones will be responsible for the coordination of the
company's Fiat Division locations worldwide.  Mr. Jones previously held the
position of Director of Finance for the Fiat Division.
    Roberto Forni is appointed Vice President Sales and Engineering - Fiat
Division.  In his new role, Mr. Forni will be responsible for the
consolidation of the Fiat Division's sales and engineering functions.
Previously, Mr. Forni held the position of Director of Engineering - Fiat
Division.
    Massimo Zagati is appointed Financial Controller -- Fiat Division.
Mr. Zagati will be responsible for the Fiat Division's financial analysis and
reporting systems.  Previously, Mr. Zagati held the position of Director --
Accounting and Finance.
