Accelr8 Technology Wins Year 2000 Ford Motor Company Account

    DENVER, Sept. 22 -- Accelr8 Technology Corporation
announced today a worldwide licensing agreement with Ford Motor
Company of Dearborn, Michigan for Navig8 2000; Accelr8's software solution for
Year 2000 compliance within Unix environments and Digital Equipment
Corporation VAX and Alpha VMS systems.
    Under terms of the agreement, Accelr8 will provide its complete portfolio
of Navig8 2000 software and services; including training, implementation and
product support to Ford's domestic and international locations.  Accelr8's
Vice President of Sales, Tim Fitzpatrick, noted that "Ford will use Navig8
2000 to analyze and renovate their Unix client/server and VMS code on a global
basis." Fitzpatrick added, "Accelr8's technology will be utilized by Ford on a
broad range of manufacturing floor, development and financial application
environments."
    Accelr8's Chairman, Thomas Geimer, added "The depth and breadth of our
technology, Navig8 2000, provides the only multiple language solution for
DEC/VAX users as well as Unix environments.  Our extensive experience in
helping customers modernize and convert legacy systems has positioned Accelr8

cited a recent quote from a research report published by Giga Information
Group, "Accelr8 is the dominant player in the DEC Year 2000 arena now."
