AirSensors Changes Name to IMPCO Technologies

    CERRITOS, Calif., Sept. 12 -- AirSensors, Inc.
(Nasdaq: ARSN ARSNW) today announced that it has changed its corporate name to
IMPCO Technologies, Inc., effective September 15, 1997.  The company will
change its trading symbol on the Nasdaq National Market to IMCO from ARSN, and
warrant trading symbol to IMCOW from ARSNW.
    Robert M. Stemmler, president and chief executive officer, stated, "In
order to capitalize on the IMPCO brand name and its reputation around the
world, the company decided a name change was appropriate.  As the company
continues to grow and expand its alternative fuel products and services
throughout the world,  the new name will provide a much stronger identity for
the company."
    IMPCO Technologies, Inc. sells its alternative fuel products and services
worldwide.  Located in Cerritos, California, with additional facilities in
Irvine, California, Detroit, Michigan, Seattle, Washington, Mt. Pleasant,
Iowa, Australia, France, Germany, Holland and the United Kingdom, IMPCO has
been a market leader in OEM and aftermarket gaseous fuel management systems
and components that allow internal combustion engines to operate on clean
fuels such as propane and natural gas.  IMPCO provides conversion systems for
motor vehicles, forklifts, other material handling equipment, and small
portable to large stationary engines.
