Titan Announces Dividend for Third Quarter

    QUINCY, Ill., Sept. 10 -- The Board of Directors of Titan
International, Inc. has approved a quarterly cash dividend of
$.015 (one and a half cents) per common share for the third quarter of 1997.
The dividend is payable October 15, 1997, to shareholders of record on
September 30, 1997.
    Titan International, Inc. is a global manufacturer of mounted tire and
wheel systems for off-highway equipment used in agriculture, construction,
mining, military, recreation and grounds care.  Titan has manufacturing and
distribution facilities throughout the United States and Europe.
