Seasoned European Automotive Executive to Head Donnelly Corporation European OperationsFRANKFURT/Main, Germany, Sept. 10 -- Donnelly Corporation today announced that Hans W. Huber has joined the company as chief operating officer of its European operations. Mr. Huber is a seasoned automotive executive with 20 years of experience with some of the world's top automotive manufacturing companies in Europe, Asia and North America. "Hans is a valuable addition to Donnelly's top management team," said Dwane Baumgardner, Donnelly chairman and chief executive officer. "He has years of global auto industry experience, a strong track record in dealing with effective restructuring to achieve operational improvements, and has excellent relationships with Donnelly's major customers. He will play a key role in positioning Donnelly as a Tier I systems supplier in Europe." Before joining Donnelly, Mr. Huber served as vice president and general manager of Framatome Connectors Automotive, where he was responsible for several operations in Europe and North America. During his years with Framatome he introduced highly successful lean manufacturing systems, thus assuring profitability of the different operations. Before joining Framatome, Mr. Huber held responsibilities for operations and marketing with TRW in Europe. A German native, Mr. Huber holds a degree in high-precision mechanics/electronics from the Engineering School in Heilbronn, Germany.
