Mechanical Dynamics Opens Beijing Office To Support ADAMS Distributors in China

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Sept. 5 -- Mechanical Dynamics, Inc.
, a worldwide supplier of software and services for the virtual
prototyping market, has opened an office in Beijing to provide marketing and
technical support to distributors of the company's ADAMS mechanical system
simulation software in China.
"We've established Mechanical Dynamics China in response to our Chinese
customers' needs for increased local consulting support of their specialized
ADAMS applications," said Raymond J. Gaynor, vice president of Asia/Pacific
operations for Mechanical Dynamics. "Business is increasing in China, and by
having a closer partnership with our customers there, the potential for
further growth is enormous."
Gaynor adds, "Our Beijing office will work with our Chinese distributors
to create custom virtual prototyping solutions combining industry- and
application-specific software and consulting."

Ann Arbor, Michigan-based Mechanical Dynamics pioneered the field of
mechanical system simulation, and has remained focused on this technology
since its founding in 1977. Engineering teams use the company's ADAMS
software to build and test virtual prototypes, realistically simulating on
their computers the full-motion behavior of complex mechanical system designs.
Using ADAMS can help manufacturers reduce the number of costly physical
prototypes, improve design quality, and significantly shorten product
development cycles.
ADAMS virtual prototyping products are used by thousands of engineering
teams from nearly every manufacturing industry, including automotive, defense,
aerospace, aircraft, off-highway equipment, rail, shipbuilding, industrial
machinery, mechatronics, biomechanics, and others.
