Chrysler Debuts Year 2008 Designs Via Tripod, the Hottest Web Site For Twentysomethings, in Innovative Sponsorship Deal

    WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass., Aug. 19 -- Ever wonder what the cars of
tomorrow will look like?  What will make them go?  What they'll be made of?
Chrysler's 1997 Design and Engineering interns will show visitors to
Tripod.com, the hottest site on the Web for twentysomethings, what the future
might look like in car design and technology on Thursday, August 21.  They'll
introduce six concept cars for the year 2008 developed this summer as part of
the Chrysler internship program.
    This specially sponsored programming on Tripod.com is aimed at the site's
more than 415,000 members and is available to anyone with Web access.  The
excitement begins on Thursday, August 21, with a live chat session at
approximately 3:00 PM EDT.  Tripod members will be able to interact with
Chrysler's design interns and each other, and check out the Design Gallery
showcasing the futuristic models at
