Land Rover Reports Record July SalesLANHAM, Md., Aug. 4 -- Land Rover North America, Inc. reported best ever July sales of 2,347 units. The month's total compares to 1,810 units sold during July of 1996. Charles R. Hughes, president, LRNA, said, "Despite increasing competition in the sport utility segment, LRNA continues to set sales records. The month's sales marked our best ever overall July as well as our best July for Discovery, Defender 90 and the new Range Rover."
