Kia Reports Sales for July 1997

    IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 1 -- Kia Motors America today announced
record sales of 5,024 for the month of July, its highest total since retail
sales began in February 1994.  The Sephia compact sedan and Sportage sport-
utitility vehicle each had their second-highest sales month ever.
