Federal-Mogul Dedicates New Juarez, Mexico Lighting FacilitySOUTHFIELD, Michigan, July 31 -- Signaling another successful step of its restructuring plan, Federal-Mogul Corporation today dedicated its new lighting assembly facility in Juarez, Mexico. "This is a great day for Federal-Mogul as we dedicate our wonderful new building and pay tribute to our outstanding work force here in Juarez," said Dick Snell, chairman and chief executive officer, who presided over the ribbon cutting ceremony today. "The consolidation of our lighting assembly into this expanded location provides us with a more efficient operation while maintaining our high quality standards." Federal-Mogul's lighting operation assembles Signal-Stat(R) Lighting and Safety Products which has earned quality recognition from Ford, General Motors and Navistar. The new 102,000 sq. ft. facility houses the product lines from Federal- Mogul's Leiters Ford, Indiana and original Juarez, Mexico location. The consolidation of product lines in Juarez was announced in February as part of Federal-Mogul's extensive restructuring plan.
