Excelsior-Henderson Signs Up Dealers

                  Dealers Set to Sell Reborn American Legend

    MINNEAPOLIS, July 31 -- Excelsior-Henderson Motorcycle
Manufacturing Company today announced that it has signed on its initial
dealers to sell and service the company's heavyweight cruiser motorcycles, as
well as sell related merchandise and clothing.  A select group of an initial
12 dealers -- dubbed the Pioneer Crew -- were the first to sign and will play
an instrumental role with the company.
    At a ceremony in Belle Plaine, Minn., the factory site and future home of
Excelsior-Henderson, all company executives signed and presented commemorative
certificates to the dealers, who also received photos to recognize the
significance of this event.
    "Signing dealer agreements is a vital step toward reintroducing a
legendary name in the motorcycle industry," said the Hanlon brothers,
Co-founders of Excelsior-Henderson.  "We call the members of the select group
'pioneers' because they fit the original definition of the word:  one who goes
before, preparing the way for others to follow."
    "The Pioneer Crew includes leading motorcycle dealerships from across the
country," added Dave Auringer, national sales manager for Excelsior-Henderson.
"And every single Pioneer knows how important they are to the rebirth of
Excelsior-Henderson."
    The Pioneer Crew dealers who signed with Excelsior-Henderson include:
Delano Sport Center (Delano, Minn.), Nielsen Enterprises (Lake Villa, Ill.),
Kersting's Cycle Center (Winamac, Ind.), Bert's Motorcycle Mall (Azusa,
Calif.), Team Butch (Grand Rapids, Mich.), Pikes Peak Harley-Davidson
(Colorado Springs, Colo.), Bob's Harley-Davidson (Fond du Lac, Wis.), Santa
Cruz Harley-Davidson (Santa Cruz, Calif.), Oak Lawn Cycle Sales (Oak Lawn,
I11.), Sun Enterprises (Denver, Colo.), Great Lakes Motorsports (Burton,
Mich.) and Tilley Harley-Davidson (Statesville, N.C.).
    Excelsior-Henderson, a development stage company, plans to manufacture,
market and sell premium American heavyweight cruiser and touring motorcycles.
The company's 160,000-square-foot manufacturing and administrative facility in
Belle Plaine, Minn., is currently under construction.
