Lear Corporation Completes Acquisition of Keiper Car Seating

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., July 31 -- Lear Corporation
announced today that it has completed its acquisition of the Keiper Car
Seating business from Putsch GmbH & Co. KG, KEIPER GmbH & Co. and certain of
their affiliates.  The purchase price of the acquisition including the
assumption of debt was approximately $260 million.
