Standard Products Board Elects Roudebush Vice Chairman, Chief Executive OfficerDEARBORN, Mich., July 24 -- The Standard Products Co. today announced that Ronald L. Roudebush was formally elected vice chairman, chief executive officer and a member of the Company's Board of Directors. The Company previously announced his appointment to the position. James S. Reid, Jr., continues to serve as chairman of the board and will act in an advisory capacity. Theodore K. Zampetis continues as president and chief operating officer, a position he has held since his election to the Board of Directors in 1991. Roudebush had been president and general manager from 1991 to 1994 of the $2.8 billion automotive business of Rockwell International Corporation . He initially joined Rockwell International in 1973 and served the company in various manufacturing, administrative and financial areas over his career. Mr. Roudebush currently serves on the Board of Directors of Simpson Industries, Inc. and the GMI Engineering and Management Institute. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering in 1970 from GMI Engineering and Management Institute and earned a Master of Science degree in industrial management in that same year from the Krannert School at Purdue University. Standard Products manufacturers sealing, trimming and vibration control systems for the automotive original equipment industry in North and South America and Europe. Its Holm Industries subsidiary produces seals for refrigerators, freezers, doors and windows. Its Oliver Rubber subsidiary manufactures tread rubber and equipment for the retread industry.
